Stasium was previously a senior loan offi cer in commercial lending at TD Bank. CES Inc., an engineering, environ- mental science and surveying fi rm in Brewer, hired David Brooks, Amanda Wade and Dorota Schweier at its Lewiston branch offi ce. Brooks is a senior project groundwater hydrologist, Wade is a registered professional engineer and Schweier is an environmental technician. USI Insurance Services LLC in South Portland hired Jack Cowie as vice president of its commer- cial insurance practice. Cowie most recently was with United Insurance Group as a commercial account executive. Clark Insurance in Portland hired David Nadeau as an account executive in its business insurance department. TIQA, a restaurant in Portland, hired Bo Byrne as chef de cuisine, Nicholas Bowen as sous chef and Zara Edwards as beverage director. Byrne was with David's Opus Ten, Bowen was with Ri Ra Irish Pub and Edwards was with Caiola's Restaurant. St.Germain Collins, an environmental, compliance and engineering fi rm in Westbrook, hired Sandra Perry, Cheryl Ahearn and Christopher Baldwin. Perry, a senior project manager, was the director of environmental health and safety services with Triumvirate Environmental; Ahearn, an accounting manager, has more than 30 years of experience in business accounting consulting services; and Baldwin, the director of engineering, pre- viously served as district engineer for the Cumberland County Soil & Water Conservation District. BBSC CPAs in Brewer hired Justin Freeman as a senior accountant. Spinnaker Trust, a non-depository trust company in Portland, hired Jeannine Pendergast to lead the fi rm's Employee Stock Ownership Plans off erings. Jeannine Pendergast, a CPA with a corporate fi nance background, was pre- viously the ESOP trustee for Stewart's Shops Corp. St. Mary's Health System in Lewiston hired Christopher Chekouras as president and CEO. Chekouras previously served as senior vice president of post-acute and com- munity-based services at Virtua, a southern New Jersey health care system with three hospitals. Bowdoin International Music Festival in Brunswick hired Casey Oakes as PR and marketing coordinator. Oakes was previously with Maine's Good eater in Portland. The Maine Small Business Development Center hired Roy Hebert to operate its York County offi ce. Vance Gray Wealth Management in Ellsworth hired Andrew Laslie to run its new tax strategy and plan- ning division. Laslie was previ- ously a partner at BHA in Ellsworth. The Portland Symphony Orchestra hired Laura Retherford as annual fund manager and Samantha Scarf as event and development assistant. Retherford mostly recently served as co-executive director of Girls Inc. in Wayne County, Ind., while Scarf was associate director of the Rufus Porter Museum in Bridgton.
