I'd like to thank my attorneys. Our complex project management experience is a key to returning sea-run fish to their historic habitat in the Penobscot River. e Penobscot River Restoration Project is one of the largest in our country's history. With the final stages of this 12-year project now nearing completion, we congratulate the dam owners, conservation groups, Penobscot Indian Nation and federal, state and tribal agencies with whom we collaborated to remove two dams, bypass a third and regenerate the environment while maintaining energy production. We did it for our home state of Maine. We did it because it was the right thing to do. We also did it to make some fish very happy.
