MetroWest495 Biz | October 2015 7 million, or 14 cents per share, the company reported. Its revenue for the quarter, which ended July 31, was $27.9 million. The loss, however, was lower than for the second quarter a year earlier, when SeaChange had an operating loss of $5.2 million, or 15 cents per share, and revenue of $29.8 million. The company credited the improvement primarily to the growth of new product revenues. That compares favorably to the first half of fiscal 2015, the company noted. Millennial motivation studied by Staples A study conducted by Staples Advantage found that salary still contributes greatly to the loyalty of millennials, while also confirming that they value nontraditional benefits in creating goodwill. In a statement, the division of Framingham-based Staples said the finding from its 2015 Work - place Index runs counter to a com- monly held belief about the genera- tion. Almost one-third of millennials (29 percent) surveyed reported that higher salary is the biggest contribu- tor to their loyalty, despite only 20 percent of the broader workforce reporting the same. "Millennials are becoming the largest demographic in the U.S. workforce … so it's critical for employers to understand how to at - tract and retain millennial talent," said John Burke, senior vice president and chief culture officer for Staples.
