Leahy, who was president, succeeds John Coleman, who has served as CEO since founding the agency in 1993. Coleman will assume the role of chairman of the fi rm. Baker Newman Noyes, an accounting and consulting fi rm in Portland, announced the election of Carl Chatto to managing principal eff ective Jan. 1, 2016, and announced the election of Jeffrey Wheeler to succeed Chatto as director of audit, also eff ective Jan. 1. Chatto is currently a principal and director of audit while Wheeler is audit principal in the fi rm's Manchester offi ce. Sterling Rope Co. Inc. in Biddeford promoted Mike Knox to purchaser, Dave Werdelin to arbor sales in the work division, Austin Smith to climbing and outdoor sales and Karen Trunzo to assistant production manager. The Kennebec Valley Community Action Program promoted Michele Prince to COO. Prince was previously the organi- zation's community initiatives director. Katahdin Trust in Houlton promoted Aaron Cannan to senior vice presi- dent, commercial services offi cer. Cannan was previ- ously vice president, commercial services offi cer.
