A resident of Auburn, she formerly worked in various positions at Southbridge Savings Bank from 2004 to 2015, such as manager and — most recently — as a mortgage consultant. DeGray is also,president of the Webster, Dudley, Oxford Chamber of Commerce.. LISA VICKERS was named president of the Junior League of Worcester. She has been a member of the nonprofit group for six years, serving as secretary, treasurer, vice president of finance and other roles. REBECCA ROBINSON was named president elect; HEATHER SLUGASKI secretary; MICHELLE BARKLEY treasurer; LYDIA KEENE KENDRICK as community vice president; ABBYGAYL GEORGE as fund development director; and CATHERINE CHOQUETTE as communications director. TINA SWIFT was hired and VERONICA HOPKINS, ALEXANDRA LIKES, KAYLA KONICKI promoted at Oxford-based Hometown Bank. Swift is a loan processor and underwriter at the Oxford Operations Center. She previously worked as a loan processor for The Citizens National Bank in Putnam, Conn. Hopkins was promoted from loan administrator to loan servicing supervisor. Likes was promoted to customer service representative for the Webster office on Gore Road. Konicki was promoted to assistant head teller at the Webster Convenience Center, where she was previously a teller. DONNA JAWOREK of Milford was hired by Pernet Family Health Service in Worcester, as director of early intervention. She has spent 20 years in the field of early intervention in Pennsylvania and in Massachusetts, 10 of those years at the director level. Jaworek has also served as a second- grade teacher, and as a child care director in corporate and community centers. STEPHEN MIX was hired as a senior loan officer at Ross Mortgage Co. in Westborough, and will work out of the firm's Woburn office. He has previously worked at Radius Financial Group, Mortgage Network, and Mortgage Options of America, where he held titles including loan officer, operations manager and webmaster. DR. THOMAS G. BYRNE was hired by Family Health Center of Worcester as chief medical officer. A family physician, Byrne has 25 years of experience in practice. He most recently served as medical director of Hallmark Health Medical Associates in Stoneham. FABIANA MENEZES was hired by Radius Financial Group in Marlborough, as branch manager, at the company's new office at 5 Mount Royal Avenue. Menezes has worked in the mortgage banking industry for nearly 10 years, previously as a loan officer for Radius Financial in Norwell, and as a loan originator at Mortgage Options. STEVEN SWAIN, RICHARD M. FREELAND, ROBERT J. STEVENISH and LINDA SAVITSKY were named to the leadership team at Clark University in Worcester. Swain is chairman of the board of trustees. He is a co-founder and managing partner of the growth equity investment firm Centana Growth Partners. Swain is a Clark graduate who joined the board in 1989. Freeland, the board's new vice chairman, is the recently retired commissioner of higher education for Massachusetts and president emeritus at Northeastern University. Vice Chair Stevenish is the retired president and chief operating officer of Modell's Sporting Goods. Board Secretary Linda Savitsky, owner of LRS Consulting Inc., is the former executive director of the National Association of State Retirement Administrators. She is also a Clark alumna. MATT COPELAND and SIRIDEVTA KHALSA were hired by Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects in Hopkinton, at its new location at 239 South Street. Copeland was hired as a building envelope sciences project manager. He most recently worked at Simpson, Gumpertz and Heger for nine years. Khalsa joins the firm as a finance manager. She has 24 years of experience in sectors such as engineering, accounting, banking and education. CHRIS COLVIN and MICHAEL BELANGER were hired by Nichols College in Dudley. Colvin is the director of athletics, coming from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., where he was associate athletics director. Belanger was hired as strength and conditioning coordinator, a new position at the athletics department at Nichols. He was previously strength and conditioning coordinator at Impact Functional & Sports Training in Sudbury, working at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for varsity programs. KRISTIN L. BILLIAR and SUSAN C. ROBERTS were named to new roles at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Billar, a faculty member since 2002 and a professor of biomedical engineering, will now head that department. He was formerly an engineer at Organogenesis Inc. Billiar has is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., and has both a master's and Ph.D. in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadephia. Roberts, most recently associate dean of the graduate school at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, will chair the chemical engineering department. She is a WPI graduate and has a Ph.D. from Cornell. ROBERT MULREY was hired by the McCurdy Group of Sturbridge, as the vice president of marketing. He brings 28 years of insurance agency experience.
