www.wbjournal.com September 28, 2015 • Worcester Business Journal 3 I f you read this column last issue, you know that WBJ editor Rick Saia has left the publication. In his four years in the post, Rick did a solid job leading our editorial team, handling the multiple tasks of the editor's job and delivering a strong journalistic product to our thousands of readers. I am pleased to announce that we have brought on a new editor, starting with our next issue, to continue that tradition. Brad Kane, the managing editor at our sister publication Hartford Business Journal, will become the next editor of the Worcester Business Journal. Brad has been with our organization for five years, previously serving as a correspondent for the Boston Globe and a reporter for the Patriot Ledger in Quincy. He also worked as a journalist in southwest Florida and Ohio for five years. While Brad knows the regional B2B area, our company and our systems quite well, he will be new to the Worcester area. I am sure that you, our readers and members of the community, as well as our staff, will help him get up to speed. Brad is young and full of energy and new ideas. So going forward, you'll see a fresh new take on the news that drives our region's business community and the central Massachusetts economy. As a manager, it is always great when you can promote a quali- fied candidate from within the organization to a higher position. Brad has earned this opportunity. Please welcome him to Central Massachusetts. And, a special thank you to the WBJ editorial team and Christina O'Neill for helping to fill the gap as we make this important transition. – Peter Stanton, Publisher This Week In The WBJ Worcester Business Journal (ISSN#1063- 6595) is published bi-weeky, 24x per year, including 5 special issues in April, July, September, November and December, by New Engand Business Media. 172 Shrewsbury St., Worcester, MA 01604.
