Kennebec Behavioral Health has provided high quality community-based prevention, education and treatment with regard to mental illness, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders for 55 years. SERVICE LOCATION(S) Kennebec Behavioral Health offers clinic-based services in Waterville, Augusta, Winthrop and Skowhegan as well as vocational rehabilitation programs called "Clubhouses" located in Waterville, Augusta and Lewiston. A total of 22 programs, including community-based services, are provided throughout mid-Maine and are offered to clients from all areas of the state of Maine. Kennebec Behavioral Health 2016 GOALS Overall: Strengthen Kennebec Behavioral Health's position as a clinical and orga- nizational leader in the delivery of mental health and substance abuse services. f Objective 1 – Outcome-based: Continue to develop, maintain and measure results-driven, outcome-managed clinical and operational processes that include analysis, interpretation, dissemination and resulting plans going forward. f Objective 2 – Quality services: Streamline, improve and integrate the delivery of services. f Objective 3 – Culture: Strengthen cultural aspects of the agency including staff fulfi llment, leadership development and internal and external customer service. f Objective 4 – Stability and growth: Stabilize and increase program delivery in 1. new sites; 2. new programs; 3. in some existing programs; 4. collaborating with and/or partnering with other organizations; and/or 5. improved marketing. f Objective 5 – Fiscal viability and operational strength: Maintain and improve fi scal viability and operational strength. f Objective 6 – Partnerships: Build new, strengthen and enhance our partnerships with DHHS, DOC, DOL, DOE and other state agencies and other organizations. f Objective 7 – Education: Educate and create broad support around the concept that mental health care and substance abuse services are health care.
