Our Vision: To help people in need overcome challenges and transform their lives by providing emotional and physical health care and educational services in an atmosphere of teamwork, compassion and creativity. KidsPeace National Centers of New England Inc. 2016 GOALS e goals of KidsPeace in Maine are focused on achieving the mission and vision by responding to community needs in such a manner as to: f Help clients and students achieve desired outcomes. f Enhance the quality of the experience of all internal and external customers. f Accomplish the above at the most reasonable and aff ordable cost. KidsPeace is further committed to improving access to quality behavioral health, special education and foster care services in rural and traditionally underserved Maine communities. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/OPPORTUNITIES f Annual Ellsworth Bowl-a-thon – Held annually in March. Teams compete for awards and prizes donated by local businesses. f Annual Holiday Gift Giving Campaign – Funds raised to support the pur- chase of holiday gifts for youth and families served by KidsPeace in Maine. f A Family For ME – Help support KidsPeace's new program to increase the num- ber of foster families available for Maine foster youth in our statewide recruiting campaign. A partnership on behalf of the Maine Department of Health and Human services: our goal is a 10% increase in families in each county in Maine within one year. Volunteers needed to help make this project a success! Supporters can donate to these eff orts by check, online or through in-kind support (all proceeds support kids and families by providing otherwise unavailable funds) and/or help solicit sponsors, vendors and volunteers to help with marketing and coordinating each of these events.
