Athol Hospital's Golf Classic in August raised $24,000 for an emergency department upgrade which will expand the number of treatment rooms and provide more spacious, private patient accommodations. Construction gets underway this fall. Putts & More Miniature Golf in Holliston hosted a fundraiser for Natick Visiting Nurse Association on Sept. 12. Passing the gavel Helen Lenti was recently elected president of the Harrington HealthCare Auxiliary. The Harrington Auxiliary, founded in 1932, raises money for important Harrington equipment and patient services. Past president Betsy Peppel, right, is shown passing the gavel to Lenti.
