"Ted" Coghlin of Worcester will be honored posthumously by Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM) for his role in building Worcester Technical High School. Coghlin, who passed away last year, will be honored as part of AIM's Next Century Awards. AIM is also honoring Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and IPG Photonics of Oxford; WPI for its Gateway Park Development and IPG for innovating optical fiber-based lasers. 290 Auto Body Inc. in Worcester was certified by Assured Performance, completing the process needed to ensure correct and safe repair of advanced vehicles. The business is also officially recognized by automakers General Motors, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and Nissan. David Backus, owner of a Fish Window Cleaning franchise in Leominster, won a Navigator Award at the company's annual convention for his work with prospective franchisees. Fletcher Tilton PC attorneys Richard Barry, Phillips Davis, Mark Donahue, Dennis Gorman and Frederick Misilo are listed in the 2016 edition of Best Lawyers. The firm has offices in Worcester and Framingham. The FDA Group of Westborough was ranked No. 294 in the Inc. 5000, a list of the nation's fastest-growing companies. The firm offers auditing, remediation and regulatory services. Catholic Charities of Worcester County was awarded a $751,523 grant from Senior Service America Inc. The money will pay wages and benefits to at least 112 low-income older adults in Worcester and Franklin counties. Staffing firm The DAVIS Cos. of Marlborough is celebrating its 30th year in business. The company was founded by Bob Davis in 1985 as a direct placement firm for software quality assurance engineers. McCann, a former lawyer, state district court judge and superior court judge, will receive the Westborough Good Scout Award on Nov. 9, in Westborough. McCann, of Westborough, is a former Scout. In his retirement, he volunteers for many local nonprofits. Dr. John A. Buehler, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and clinical instructor from Sherborn, was one of four Massachusetts dentists recently recognized by the Massachusetts Dental Society for contributions to organized dentistry at the state and local levels. They will receive William McKenna Volunteer Heroes, presented in memory of Dr. William H.
