In 2013, the EcoTarium completed a strategic plan creating four specific goals for the next few years, and conceived our vision statement to be a national leader in engaging communities with science and nature. This vision guides the EcoTarium to seek collaborations with national level partners to bring the benefits of those national partnerships to the EcoTarium and our community, positioning us for generations to come. Our four strategic goals allow us to deliver on our mission and achieve our vision: Institution: Expand our audience and reach by providing substantive, memorable and accessible experiences. Community: Expand our impact locally, regionally and nationally, collaborating to become a necessary resource. Financial Resources: Increase and diversify our sources of financial support, strengthening our institution and its economic impact. Infrastructure: Develop a sustainable infrastructure that enables institutional responsiveness and agility. Fundraising Events/Opportunities There are many opportunities to support our various programs, traveling educational exhibits and permanent hands-on exhibits. Become a sponsor, volunteer for the event and purchase tickets for these popular events: Great Pumpkin Fest, October 24, 2015: The biggest Halloween celebration for families in Central Massachusetts, now in its 12th year, is our largest community fundraiser. Noon Year's Eve, December 31, 2015: A festive celebration for children and their families to welcome the New Year with kid-friendly countdowns during the day. Earth Day, Friday, April 22, 2016: Offering half-price admission, earth-friendly activities, green vendors and entertainment. A Night at the Museum, May 2016: Science comes to life at night at our annual signature fundraising event. Join us for an adults-only evening of fun! Make a community statement for your business!
