To implement a youth leadership program that engages adolescents and young adults from local high schools and colleges/universities, providing them with opportunities to share our mission with their peers and the community- at-large. Also, to provide feedback and insights that will enhance our efforts to effectively share relevant and mean- ingful mental wellness information with young people and their caregivers. To launch a public mental health awareness campaign. To sponsor youth mental health first aid trainings that will enable volunteers, educators, mentors and other adults and young adults to better understand adolescent mental illness and respond to psychiatric distress and emergencies. To create a mental health toolkit that includes such informa- tion as: What is mental illness; What are its signs; How to ask for and seek help; How to be a supportive caregiver; How to combat stigma; and a Directory of local and regional mental health clinics and professional resources. To increase our net assets and grantmaking capabilities.
