Fundraising Events/Opportunities Join, Support, Enjoy - Membership Makes The Difference! Members of The Hanover Theatre play an important role in keeping our nonprofit organization strong so that we may continue to serve the cultural needs of our community. In return, members receive great benefits, including a 10% discount on most shows, early access to a wide range of performances, like Broadway musicals, concerts, comedy and family shows, complimentary ticket exchanges and advance e-mail notification of new shows! Did you know that only $2 out of a $50 ticket goes to supporting the theatre's operating expenses? Members are vital to our ability to feature world-class performing arts in a magnificent historic venue. From Friend Level Membership ($75) to our Franklin Square Society ($1,200+), the theatre offers a wide range of membership opportunities to meet your needs and make you a part of The Hanover Theatre family. Sustaining memberships are now available so you can demonstrate your commitment to the theatre's long term success - your yearly pledge will be charged to your debit or credit card and automatically rolled over year after year. Volunteer Opportunities As a nonprofit organization, we rely on volunteers for many important positions at the theatre. It is our pleasure to invite you to apply to join us as a volunteer usher, ticket taker, greeter, gardener or in the theatre's administrative offices. The theatre welcomes over 180,000 patrons each year and we rely on our volunteers to help us deliver the very best in customer service. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, but we only contact applicants for interviews and training annually in August before the start of a new season. The Hanover Theatre's volunteers are rewarded first and foremost with our gratitude for their time and talents, and with a host of other benefits as well. Contact us today to find a volunteer position that's the right fit for you! Giving Opportunities Foster and nurture a love and appreciation for the performing arts in audiences of today and tomorrow by giving to the Access to the Arts Fund. The theatre's annual Access to the Arts programs are making a difference in the lives of over 22,000 youth and families in our community. Whether it be through scholarships, student enrichment programs or donations of complimentary tickets to underserved youth and families, the theatre has a positive impact on the lives and future of so many young people in our region. Students from all walks of life are given opportunities to experience the magic of live theatre, perform in a world-class performing arts venue and interact with peers in a safe, collaborative environment. Our various programs help students develop critical thinking skills and provide important avenues for self-expression and communication. Popularity and demand for these programs grow year after year. Your contribution today will support this valuable programming and have a lasting impact on the youth in our community.
