An avid gardener and reader, I am reminded of a story by Sr. E. Wagner. 'Everyone grows well, when they are in the right soil, the right climate and the right space.' Rainbow is a wonderful organization, providing all the right opportunities for children to learn and grow well. I am delighted to be a part of this organization. – Linda Hyde, RCDC Board Member Rainbow Child Development Center's administration and staff welcomes, encourages and values volunteers. Rainbow's volunteers are a resource that facilitates confidence and development to hundreds of low-income children. Below is a list of volunteer opportunities where passion and positivity are the only requirements. • Committee Involvement: Advancement, Special Events and Playground • Foster children's mind growth by mentoring a school age child who enjoys Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and/or Math. • Join the Center's Parent Task Force. • Attend the Center's family and community events, art exhibits and literacy celebrations.
