Though my time at Lian Zarrow has been invaluable, I am now looking for- ward to joining Bowditch & Dewey, where I hope to continue to grow my practice. Community involvement: Board member, The Bridge of Central Mass., 2011-present; member, Worcester County Bar Association since 2010 and co-chair of the Young Lawyers' Section since 2013. Charity work for various organizations, including Camp Sunshine (teen counselor and kitchen) and the Red Cross (preparation of emergency disaster kits). Ultimate career goal: To still love what I do when I retire. Non-relative you admire most: Anyone who has the courage to stand up for someone else for no other rea- son than it's the right thing to do. But I've found being able to connect people with philanthropic options is a very rewarding career with sustainable impacts. My career highlights to date are a collective of the partnerships I have created that continue to thrive with or without my involvement. Community involvement: I am very for- tunate to have a therapy dog; he has vol- unteered in local schools and therapeu- tic programs working on behavioral health and cross-cultural expression (he is from Kenya and responds to Swahili). I also am a newly appointed member of the Girls Inc. 100th Anniversary Gala committee. I support the work of Lettuce Be Local, and I run in fundraising 5Ks. Ultimate career goal: I hope to remain with Tufts for the foreseeable future and grow in my current role. I would eventu- ally love to bring our philanthropy over- seas to advocate for animals and veteri- narians in developing countries. Community involvement: I am current- ly involved with the United Way of North Central Massachusetts Community Impact Team. From 2013 to 2014, I took part in the Community Leadership Institute program through the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce. My branch is also involved with The United Way Day of Caring and Kylee's Kare Kits for Kidz. Ultimate career goal: To be in a posi- tion where I am truly helping to drive the success of my company. Non-relative you admire most: I admire many different people in differ- ent ways, but the one thing they all seem to share is the ability to remain humble even after achieving great suc- cess. Favorite book: "A Song of Ice and Fire" (The "Game of Thrones" book series) Hidden talents: Spelling. "By the time I turn 50, I'd like to have accomplished … My two boys will be 23 and 19 years old. I hope to have played an integral role in helping them to grow and develop into bright, inspired young men." The feeling of accomplishment of seeing a product at retail after a long development cycle keeps me excited and ready for the next project. Community involvement: At Angel Guard, approximately 85 percent of our assembly and final packaging is per- formed by folks from the community with disabilities. Much of our workforce comes from the Center of Hope, and I have had the pleasure of working with the center for a number of years. My wife and I contribute to several charities. I also coach my son's T-ball team, and will con- tinue to volunteer with the Spencer Brookfield Little League. Non-relative you admire most: Jimmy Buffett, for the way he turned his music into a lifestyle and ultimately a world- renowned brand. Favorite book: "Good Omens," by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett Hidden talents: I have a propensity for seeking out and trying new things. I recently began playing ukulele and gui- tar, learning CAD, and started fly fishing.
