He had purchased the market from his father in 1985. e weekly newspa- per reported, however, that Gilmore's brother Kevin is considering purchasing the equipment and taking over the sea- food market's name, possibly relocating the business to a nearby property. Penobscot Bay Media, an informa- tion technology company in Rockland, announced it will serve as a sub- contractor for Science Applications International Corp., who was awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quan- tity contract to provide all training and training program support services under the FAA Controller Training Contract. The company will be respon- sible for instructional support at sev- eral sites in New England. Camden National Corp. announced that its board of directors declared a dividend of $0.30 per share payable on July 31, 2015, for shareholders of record on July 15, 2015. Multi-million-dollar pipeline fight likely heading to court A U.S. District Court judge in Bangor has rejected a motion for summary judgment in the court case involving claims between Summit Natural Gas of Maine Inc. and Schmid Pipeline Construction Inc., setting the stage for the legal dispute to proceed in U.S. District Court. e Portland Press Herald reported that the case stems from a lawsuit filed by Schmid in December 2013 seeking $72 million in damages from Summit for an alleged breach of contract and an underestimation of the scope of work involved in the Kennebec Valley pipeline project. Summit has filed counterclaims against Schmid, alleging breach of contract, breach of warranty and other claims, the newspaper reported. U.S. Magistrate Judge John Nivison recommended against granting Schmid summary judgment on the breach of contract and prompt payment claim, the news- paper reported. e two parties have until July 13 to file their responses to Nivison's recommendations. Burt's Bees co-founder Burt Shavitz dies Burt's Bees co-founder Burt Shavitz has died at the age of 80. e company announced on its Facebook page that Shavitz died on July 5, but did not state his cause of death. Shavitz, who co- founded the company with Quimby in Dover-Foxcroft in 1984, is the name- sake for the company and its line of cosmetic and personal products. e company is now based in Durham, N.C., and is owned by Clorox Co. UMaine Augusta, Fort Kent hire interim leaders Two Maine university officials have been named as interim leaders for the University of Maine System's cam- puses in Augusta and Fort Kent. e Maine Public Broadcasting Network reported that Rebecca Wyke, UMaine System's vice chancellor of finance and administration, will become UMaine Augusta's interim president. She is taking over the position from Glenn Cummings, who was recently named as the University of Southern Maine's permanent leader. John Murphy, UMaine Fort Kent's chief financial officer, will become that uni- versity's interim president, replacing William Hess, who is retiring.
