Waynflete, a private school in Portland, announced that Ben Devine, Emily Renschler, Christopher Smith and Cherie Wendelken joined the school's board of trustees. Devine is founding partner of Great Island Development in Boston, Renschler is an anthropologist and researcher at Bowdoin College and the PENN Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Smith is a part- ner at Verrill Dana in Portland and Wendelken is director of the Brooks Family Foundation. The American Council of Engineering Companies of Maine elected Owens McCullough as president. McCullough is vice president of engineering for Sebago Technics in South Portland. [ ACHIEVEMENTS ] University of New England in Biddeford announced that Jack McDonald, incoming associate vice president and director of athletics, was cho- sen to receive the Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association 2015 Gary Cunningham Lifetime Achievement Award. McDonald spent the last 20 years serving as director of athletics at NCAA Division I Quinnipiac University. Penobscot Community Health Care in Bangor announced that Winterport Community Health Center achieved Level III Recognition as a Patient- Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, the highest level awarded for the committee's recognition. Glacial Multimedia Inc., an Internet marketing and website design agency in Westbrook, was awarded the 2015 Interactive Media Awards "Best in Class" for health care websites for its work with South Western Eye Center, a medical practice with multiple loca- tions in Arizona and New Mexico. Printing Industries of New England announced that J.S. McCarthy Printers in Augusta won 10 Pinnacle Awards (Best of Category), three Awards of Recognition and two Awards of Merit in the association's New England regional Awards of Excellence Competition. The Maine Real Estate & Development Association recently announced the recipients of its 2014 Notable Projects Awards. Recipients of the association's "Top 7 Most Notable Projects of 2014" were the Hampton Inn in Lewiston, by Parallax Partners; The Bay House Condominiums in Portland, by Reger Dasco Properties; Falmouth Schools Redevelopment Project, by OceanView at Falmouth; Brookside Village in Farmington, by Farmington Land; Seaport Village & The Inn at Seaport, by First Atlantic HealthCare; Courtyard by Marriott in Portland, by J.B. Brown & Sons; and Hyatt Place Hotel in Portland, by East Brown Cow. PenBay Media in Rockland announced it received the General Services Administration Mentor-Protégé of the Year Award during the 2015 GSA Mentor Protégé Awards Ceremony. e award recognizes outstanding mentor-protege teams. Carrabassett Valley Academy was one of 16 clubs recognized in the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association podium certification process as part of the association's new club development program. e academy was recog- nized with the highest classification of gold certification. Suzanne Uhl-Melanson, certified finan- cial planner with Uhl-Melanson Investor Services in Waterville, took part in the Commonwealth Financial Network's Winners Circle conference. Winners Circle recognizes successful advisors, based on annual production rankings among the network's advisors. The Maine Chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society recognized Lincoln Merrill Jr., president and CEO of Patriot Insurance Co. in Yarmouth, as the recipient of the 2015 Lee G.
