The University of Maine at Farmington hired Scott Hoisington as alpine operations coordinator and ski coach. Portland Public Schools promoted Dawn Kenniston to principal of Hall Elementary School, Abdullahi Ahmed to assistant principal at Deering High School, Jake Giessman to assistant principal at Lyman Moore Middle School and Ted Hummel to teacher leader at Reiche Elementary School. The Northern and Eastern Chapter of the American Red Cross in Maine promoted Caroline King to executive director. King most recently served as a major gifts offi cer for the state.
