34 Worcester Business Journal • June 8, 2015 www.wbjournal.com ACCOLADES & HONORS Milford Regional Medical Center received International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Care Award from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners and the International Lactation Consultant Association. Clinton Hospital's Rehabilitation Department was awarded the 2015 Clinical Site of Excellence Award from the School of Physical Therapy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS). This award is given annually to a clinical site that best demonstrates excellence in quality of learning for students. Greater Worcester Community Foundation presented its 11th annual Renaissance Award to Frances Anthes, president and CEO of the Family Health Center of Worcester. The award, given each year to a nonprofit leader, comes with a $5,000 cash prize. Consigli Construction Co. of Milford was named one of the "Healthiest Companies in America" by Interactive Health, a health management solutions firm. Consigli was among 158 honorees and the only Massachusetts firm chosen. The awards are given to companies that prioritize employee health with wellness programs and other initiatives. B.T.'s Smokehouse of Sturbridge was named one of the best barbecue restaurants in the country and No. 1 in New England in "The 100 Best Barbecue Restaurants in America," a book by Johnny Fugitt. NES Rentals of Worcester received an Outstanding Customer Service Award at the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) ceremony in Washington. The IAPAs recognize businesses that exhibit excellence and the best practices in the powered access industry. MTD Micro Molding of Charlton is one of five finalists for the Qmed Supplier Innovation Challenge. The medical plastic fabrication company will be honored at the MD&M East in New York City, where the winner will be announced. Qmed is an organization of pre-qualified suppliers to the medical device industry. Horizons for Homeless Children of Worcester, Project Just Because of Hopkinton, and Veterans Inc. of Worcester received grants from the Worcester Regional Association of Realtors (WRAR). These organizations were nominated based on their initiatives to provide affordable housing, shelter, and care services to those in need in Worcester County and across the United States. n SpencerBANK won a 2015 Silver Hammer Award from the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce for its rehabilitation of the former Worcester Fire Alarm and Telegraph Building.
