The liquor store matched all donations made during the event. Central One Federal Credit Union in Shrewsbury hosted a financial literacy program, Road to Financial Independence, for some high school students. Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts was part of an effort to award 14 grants in 13 communities, including Boys & Girls Club of Lunenburg ($7,500). BANK GIVES BACK Worcester-based Bay State Savings Bank donated $4,000 to Edward Street Child Services of Worcester through its Champions for Children initiative.
