HADDAD was named chief of staff at Commonwealth Medicine, the public service consulting and operations division of UMass Medical School. Before joining Commonwealth Medicine, she served as both director of health care policy and deputy general counsel at the Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration and Finance. From 2009 to 2012, Haddad was general counsel and health policy advisor to state Sen. Richard T. Moore. She earned her bachelor's degree from Wellesley College in Wellesley; a master's in public health from Tufts University in Medford; and her juris doctorate from Northeastern University in Boston. DR. STEPHANIE MURIGLAN was hired by the department of family medicine at Reliant Medical Group. She will work at the group's site in Holden. Muriglan received her medical degree from Saint George's University School of Medicine in Saint George's, Grenada. She then completed her residency at UMass- Fitchburg Family Medicine. Muriglan is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. THOMAS BARTHOLOMEW, JAMES DELSIGNORE, BRIAN J. PERRY, R. SCOTT WALKER, J. MICHAEL GRENON, PETER B. ALDEN, JEFFREY W. HILLIS, ELAINE T. FLUET and DENNIS L. IRISH were all elected to serve three-year terms for various board committees for The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts. Bartholomew, president of Bartholomew & Co. Inc.; DelSignore, retired Worcester auditor and pension manager; Perry, senior vice president of Webster Five Cents Savings Bank; and Walker, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Fallon Health; will all serve on the investment committee. Grenon, vice president and princi of Grimes & Co. Inc., was re-elected to the committee. Alden, president and CEO of Bay State Savings Bank; and Hillis, president of AdCare Hospital of Worcester, were elected to serve on the audit committee. Fluet, president and CEO of GVNA HealthCare, was elected to the nominating committee; Irish, of Worcester, was re-elected to that committee. DRS. PETER MURPHY, DANIEL CARLUCCI and MIGUEL ANTELO were hired by Reliant Medical Group. Murphy will work in urgent care at the Plantation Street, Worcester location, in the Same-Day Services Department. He earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Carlucci is chair of medical specialties and will continue to see patients at the group's Southborough location. He was previously chief of cardiology and president of the medical staff at Marlborough Hospital. Carlucci received his medical degree from UMass Medical School in Worcester. He is board- certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, and is Level-2 Nuclear Cardiology Certified. Antelo joined the organization's division of urology. He will be working at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Antelo is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Urology. Veterinarian DR. EMILY ANGIULO was hired by VCA Abbott Animal Hospital in Worcester. She was previously an intern at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in Weymouth, following a career in the pharmaceutical industry. Angiulo has dual undergraduate degrees from Pennsylvania State University in State College —in international politics and French — and a veterinary degree from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Grafton. DR. SARIKA AGGARWAL, JEAN G. MCMURRAY and DR. GISELA VELEZ were elected as directors of The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts. Aggarwal is senior vice president and chief medical officer at Fallon Community Health Plan. McMurray is executive director of the Worcester County Food Bank, and Velez is an ophthalmologist with offices in Ayer and Worcester. DR. JOHN P. GUSHA was elected chairman; DR. MICHAEL J. MUTCHLER vice chairman; ANN K. TRIPP, treasurer; DR. LYDIA M. YOUNG secretary; and LUIS G. PEREZ, executive committee member. DR. DIANA RABKINA joined Southbridge- based Harrington Physician Services' pediatric practice. She will work with Dr. Cynthia Wilson Grillo at the Medical Arts Building in Southbridge. Board-certified in pediatrics, Rabkina, a native of Russia, most recently worked at Aspirus Pediatrics in Wausau, Wisc. She has also worked as a pediatrician at Newport Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Newport, Vt. Rabkina has also served as a research associate at Mass. General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. She completed her education (medical doctorate and Ph.D.) in Russia, at First Moscow Medical Academy. DR. BRIAN BURROUGHS and DR. JULIE A. ALOSI were hired by Reliant Medical Group in Worcester. Burroughs has joined the department of orthopedic and reconstructive surgery and will practice at Saint Vincent Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Boston University and completed his residency at UMass Medical School in Worcester, followed by a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Alosi will practice surgical oncology and general surgery at Saint Vincent, as a member of the department of surgical specialties. She earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont in Burlington. Her residency was completed at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington — the university's medical center — followed by a fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, N.Y. MARK SURPRENANT was promoted by GVNA HealthCare Inc. to vice president of operations. An employee of GVNA since 2011, he was vice president of homecare. Before that, he worked as a director of rehabilitation for Landmark Health Solutions. He earned a bachelor's degree in health sciences and a master's in occupational therapy from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. He also holds a master's degree in accounting from Suffolk University. W. PATRICK HUGHES, president and CEO of Fallon Health of Worcester, was named chair of the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans (MAHP). MICHAELA RICHARDSON was hired by Grove Medical Associates of Auburn. A registered nurse, she will serve as a nurse practitioner. For the past 10 years, Richardson worked at the Saint Vincent Hospital emergency room in Worcester. DR. CESAR AGUILAR LOPEZ and DR. MAE WOLSLEGEL were also hired by Reliant Medical Group. Aguilar Lopez, who is board certified, has joined the pulmonary and critical care division, practicing at Saint Vincent Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Facultad de Medicina in Bogota, Colombia. He then did an internship and residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Conn. He completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Conn., followed by a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn. Wolslegel is now a member of the group's department of internal medicine and will practice at the Webster location. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her internship at Frankford Hospital, followed by a residency at Aria Hospital, both in Philadelphia. Wolslegel is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. DR.
