Hartford Prints!
CATEGORY: Fewer than 25 full-time employees
STATS:
What are the family values of your
business, and how do they help you
remain competitive in the market?
Hartford Prints! is three sisters and a
press, making stationery in our home of Hart-
ford. Our family values are rooted in a love
for where we come from. We remain competi-
tive by relying on this mission to permeate
all areas of business and on each other for
creativity and support.
What would your founder say about
the state of your company today and its
achievements in the last year?
Hartford Prints! has grown significantly in
the last year. In 2013-14, we opened our flag-
ship store on Pratt Street in Hartford, hired
three full-time staff members, and diversified
our products and revenue streams. We are in
a phase of ramping up production for greater
sales and a larger market share.
What is the biggest challenge to your
business in the coming year?
Our biggest challenge is keeping costs in
line with our anticipated growth and revenue
forecasts. As sisters, we eagerly welcome the
challenge of bringing our new employees into
the family. We are excited to build a work-
place culture at Hartford Prints! that reflects
our family, our values, and our mission.
