14 Celebrating 20 Years • The Health Consultants Group T he Health Consultants Group makes a focused effort to give back to the community it serves by standing with nonprofits that are making a difference for children and those in need. But it also encourages employees to pitch in and volunteer time, donate money and offer support to causes that are important to them. Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Hartford As an organization, we support the annual Geno Auriemma's Fore the Kids charity golf tournament, and have for more than a decade. Our founder, Brien Beakey, has served as the event's co-chair since 2001. e event benefits the Connecticut Children's Medical Center's Department of Orthopaedics. Our friends there are doing incredible work for children with conditions like bone cancer, cerebral palsy and spinal deformities; we are privileged to contribute to their efforts. e hospital itself has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation's best children's hospitals for six years running. We believe it's imperative to support the continued excellence of this team. Group Effort Wherever, whenever we can celebrate our partners' achievements ...
