14 Celebrating 20 Years • The Health Consultants Group
T
he Health Consultants Group makes a focused
effort to give back to the community it serves
by standing with nonprofits that are making
a difference for children and those in need. But it also
encourages employees to pitch in and volunteer time,
donate money and offer support to causes that are
important to them.
Connecticut Children's
Medical Center, Hartford
As an organization, we support the annual Geno
Auriemma's Fore the Kids charity golf tournament,
and have for more than a decade. Our founder, Brien
Beakey, has served as the event's co-chair since 2001. e
event benefits the Connecticut Children's Medical Center's
Department of Orthopaedics. Our friends there are doing
incredible work for children with conditions like bone cancer,
cerebral palsy and spinal deformities; we are privileged
to contribute to their efforts. e hospital itself has been
ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation's
best children's hospitals for six years running. We believe it's
imperative to support the continued excellence of this team.
