John and Sally Rider bring a combined 45 years of event production and management to Rider Productions. Now in its tenth year, Rider Productions has spanned the event globe in terms of the type of events they produce. Sally spent more than a dozen years coordinating corporate events for Fleet Bank before launching the company. John spent his profes- sional life performing and producing rock concerts and shows across the country. As bass guitarist and founding member of Max Creek, one of New England's premier bands for over forty years, he brings sophisticated, high-tech, audio-visual, lighting, staging and space design expertise to Rider Productions. "I was corporate; John was rock 'n roll. It made sense to merge our talents," Sally says. "Our experiences help us meet a broad range of event objectives." In addition to producing the event itself, Rider Produc- tions offers involvement with the client from the very begin- ning of a project. Some of the specialized services Rider Productions offers are identifying event themes and mes- sages, determining a budget, designing sponsor materials and assisting in site selection, logistics, décor and post- event follow up. "We are in fact a very unique full service event management and production company," says Sally. "Many times, companies hire us when they don't have their own internal event coordinator. We work with their staff to bring the elements of the event to fruition, letting their staff focus on other priorities." Rider Productions has grown rapidly since 2004 and now produces and manages events throughout New England and beyond. "Our top priority is to make sure that when a guest leaves a Rider-produced event, they know the client's message. They've felt it, seen it, tasted it, heard it and ultimately, are empowered by it!" says Sally. Rider is excel- lent at conveying this message, through a professionally- executed and memorable event experience. "One way we do that is with décor and video," she explains. The company's North Granby offices house a fully equipped, state-of-the art production studio. "We work with charities, CEOs, market- ing teams, and all sorts of groups to create video documenta- ries and montages which can produce a very dynamic visual addition to any event." Over the years, the Riders have been active supporters of local non-profit arts, civic and social services organizations.
