" " I 'm Laurie Boske, a Rocky Hill resident, a school Principal in Portland, and a CT Humane Society fan! My family owns three dogs from CHS. Last fall, my students conducted a pet food drive and collected over 1,000 pounds of food for the pet food pantry. Recently, I became a foster "mom." Gizmo was such a sweetheart. When he was ready for adoption, I just had to keep him in our family. I now volunteer in the medical department, and witness first-hand the miracles that are performed daily by the most caring group of individuals. What a wonderful organization!
