Save the Sound — New haven
nonprofit program Save the Sound
organized the cleanup of 44 public beaches
this fall as part of International Coastal
Cleanup day. In its 12th year participating in
the program, the Save the Sound cleanups
included a scuba dive in New London, a
kayak cleanup in Norwalk, and an inland
river cleanup on the Scantic River.
