6 Worcester Business Journal • March 16, 2015 www.wbjournal.com HUDSON – A Hudson plastics manu- facturer that bought two other firms over the last five years has brought the three companies under one name, its chief executive announced. Plastic Molding Manufacturing Inc., the name of the corporate parent, will also be the outward-facing name of the com- pany. The three companies involved — ResTech Plastic Molding of Hudson; Northeast Mold & Plastics of Berlin, Conn.; and True Precision Plastics of Lancaster, Pa. — were acquired by Plastic Molding over the past five years and have operated independently until now, the company said. This renewed focus emphasizes Plastic Molding's roots and strengths: plastic molding develop- ment, production and service, the com- pany said. WORCESTER – Hanover Insurance Group will pay a quarterly dividend of 41 cents per share to its stockholders, the company announced. The dividend will be paid March 27 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 13, the company said. In February, Hanover reported a profit of $89.9 mil- lion for the fourth quarter, ending what president and CEO Frederick H. Eppinger called "a strong year." In a quarterly statement, the profit amount- ed to $2 per share, compared with $1.57 for the fourth quarter of 2013, when net income totaled $70.1 million. Eleven nursing homes in Central Massachusetts received the top rating in U.S. News & World Report's annual list of best nursing homes. The 2015 list bestows five-star status on four Worcester facilities: Beaumont at University Campus, Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Jewish Healthcare Center, and Notre Dame Long Term Care Center. Other area nursing homes earning the distinction are: Blaire House and Countryside Health Care, both of Milford; Coleman House, of Northborough; Sandalwood Center, of Oxford; Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; Whittier Westborough Transitional Care Unit, of Westborough; and St. Camillus Health Center, of Whitinsville. FRAMINGHAM – Definitive Healthcare, which provides data, intel- ligence and analytics on the health care provider market, said it has received a "significant" investment from a Boston- based growth equity firm. The amount of the investment, by Spectrum Equity, was not disclosed. Definitive said it has more than doubled its revenue in each of the last three years and quadrupled its customer base in the last two. As part of the deal, Jeff Haywood, a principal at Spectrum, and Chris Mitchell, a manag- ing director, have joined Definitive's board of directors, Definitive said. Charter Communications, which has operations in Worcester, has rebranded and upgraded its Charter Business divi- sion, renaming it Spectrum Business. Charter is based in Stamford, Conn. Jonathan Hargis, executive vice presi- dent and chief marketing officer for Charter Communications, said in a statement that Spectrum Business is "more than just a new name.
