Christopher Oldham, who has been with Coull since 1993, will be chief operating officer, and Richard Gilfoy, who joined the company two years ago, will be chief financial officer, a statement from the company said. Both will join president and cur- rent owner Andrew Coull as owners. UXBRIDGE – Three solar-energy sta- tions are expected to be completed in Uxbridge and will serve residential and commercial electric ratepayers for National Grid, according to the project developer. Clean Energy Collective (CEC), which is based in Colorado and has an office in Worcester, said the proj- ects will generate a combined capacity of three megawatts of power, enough to serve an estimated 400 to 500 custom- ers. The projects are projected to pro- duce more than 63-million kilowatt hours (kWh) of clean energy over their lifespan, and generate more than $2 mil- lion in savings for program participants, CEC said in a statement. WORCESTER – It may be years before the Olympic Games come to Massachusetts — that is, if they come — but even though they would focus on Boston, there are opportunities for the rest of the state to take part, the head of the group behind the bid told business leaders last week. Richard Davey, the transportation secretary under former Gov. Deval Patrick, said Boston 2024, the privately funded nonprofit that's leading the city's bid, is looking around the commonwealth at possible event locales. Davey is CEO of Boston 2024. In his address to about 100 people at the College of the Holy Cross, he said his organization wants to involve the entire state in the games and is already looking at sites away from Boston as possible event hosts. While Worcester is not in the mix yet, that could change, he indi- cated. MARLBOROUGH – Medical diagnos- tics firm Oxford Immunotec finished last year with a 19-percent year-over- year increase in revenue in the fourth quarter, part of a 28-percent jump for the entire year, the company reported. Oxford, which has dual headquarters in Marlborough and the United Kingdom, said it took in $12.1 million during the quarter that ended Dec. 31. In the same quarter last year, revenue totaled $10.2 million. For the year, Oxford's revenue totaled $49.5 million, up from $38.8 million in 2013. But despite increases in gross profit for the quarter and year, the company lost $6.7 million for the quar- ter and $22.2 million for the year, dragged down by operational overhead. The numbers for last year were $3.3 mil- lion and $8.7 million, respectively.
