He has won numerous state, regional and national awards for his work and is a nation- ally-recognized expert on culturally-relevant communication. Wilson's national brand experience includes Verizon FiOS, State Farm Insurance, UPS, Ringling Brothers, U.S. Air Force, Northeast Utilities, and Comcast Cable. Camelo began his career as a public affairs officer in the U.S. Air Force where he advised four-star generals on national media and speaking opportunities, and won numerous national-level awards in strategic planning, crisis communication, media relations, and event planning. He recently retired from the Air Force Reserve. He was recognized as the 2011 Public Relations Practitioner of the Year by PRSA Con- necticut and is a member of the Hartford Business Journal's Forty Under 40 class of 2008. Judges Tara Costanzo Co-Owner, Costanzo Clothing Tara Costanzo has spent more than a decade helping active corporate and business executives look their best. She and her husband Tony created Costanzo Clothing in 2002. Tara created a complimentary couture jewelry line as well as customizable cosmetics. After attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Costanzo began her career as a senior account executive at CBS Radio in 1998. She is currently pursuing her passion in acting and most recently has secured profes- sional acting assignments. She has served on the Board of Governors for the Greater Hartford Arts Council since 2008 and has also been active with The Hart- ford Club Board of Governors and Ambassa- dor Committee. Costanzo was named to the 2008 class of Forty Under 40 by the Hartford Business Journal. Caitlin Thayer Owner, Barefoot Media In addition to owning her own media com- pany, Caitlin Thayer works at the MetroHart- ford Alliance as HYPE program director. She oversees HYPE's volunteer community and plans more than 60 events and programs annually for the group's 4,000-plus members. Thayer is also the owner of Barefoot Media, a social media consulting company. Through Barefoot Media, she helps nonprofit organizations learn to use social media like Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and more. She received the Hartford Business Jour- nal's Forty Under 40 award in 2013, was chosen as a Clark University "20 Under 30 — Young Clark Alumni Who Are Shaking Up the World" in 2012 and in 2010 was featured by Hartford Magazine as one of "Hartford County's Young Achievers."
