Volunteer opportunities include such activities as assisting with the planning and organization of special events, mentoring or tutoring youth in our college access or residential programs, offering specialized programs such as money management or healthy cooking to the parents in our Intensive Foster Care program, completing small one-day projects in our Residential programs (e.g. painting or general landscaping) and soliciting donations for our annual Adopt-a-Child program, which provides gifts to hundreds of youngsters in need during the holiday season. Fundraising Events/Opportunities We offer ongoing Corporate Sponsorship, in-kind donation, and volunteer opportunities for the following events: Y.O.U. Ball - Gala for Kids (November 2014) The Gala for Kids draws more than 350 guests, including many leaders of Worcester's business and civic communities, and offers outstanding sponsor visibility before and during the event. The Gala includes both live and silent auctions, for which donations are gratefully accepted, as well as a formal dinner, live music and entertainment. SkiFest (December – March) Our annual SkiFest includes the winter-long sale of discounted lift tickets via our website and other social media outlets, capped off by a fun day of skiing at Wachusett for the youth in our programs. Corporate sponsorship opportunities for the event include print and radio media exposure. Moe Boisvert Invitational - Golf for Kids (Spring 2015) A newer event for our agency, the Moe Boisvert Invitational brings Board members, business leaders, staff and guests together for a day of golf, dinner, raffles, and networking. Registration for this tournament is open to the public, and we welcome corporate sponsors and raffle donations for this event. Y.O.U., Inc. Ride for the Kids (June 2015) Our annual Ride for the Kids draws motorcycle enthusiasts from across Central Massa- chusetts for a beautiful ride that begins in Worcester and ends at the Eight Points Sportsman's Club in Boylston, MA. The rally in- cludes live music, great food and plenty of valuable raffle items. Corporate sponsors and raffle donors are gratefully welcomed. Volunteer Opportunities Giving Opportunities The collective support of individuals, private foundations and corporate sponsorships enables us to provide exceptional behavioral health services to more than 12,000 children, adolescents and families each year. Corporate Impact Program - Throughout the year, investors in our Corporate Impact Program enjoy significant visibility and sponsor benefits, including signage at special events and agency meetings, web and social media exposure, complimentary tickets and speaking opportunities. Annual Appeal - Our agency conducts an Annual Appeal by mail in November and April each fiscal year, and we feature all other special appeals and events on our website each month. In-Kind Donations - We welcome in-kind donations of goods and services for raffles and silent auctions at most events. Adopt-a-Child - Each December Y.O.U., Inc. staff members solicit and collect holiday gifts and monetary donations, which provide gifts to as many as 1,000 at-risk youth in our care each year. Planned Giving - Our Greenwood Society comprises generous individuals who have named Y.O.U., Inc. as the beneficiary of a planned gift. We welcome the opportunity to discuss the benefits of a legacy gift and the impact it can have on the work we do.
