Working in more than 80 communities throughout Maine, with children, adults and families, our network of care includes counseling offices, a respected medical team, two schools for students with special education and emotional needs, a training institute, a recovery center and campuses in Belfast, Plymouth and Saco. Key areas on which we focus: f Ensuring quality, timely residential care for children in need. f Supporting access to safe and affordable housing for at-risk individuals and families within their community of choice. f Providing adequate funding for medication management therapy for indi- viduals who use both MaineCare (Medicaid) and Medicare. f Recognizing and championing the strength of the community mental health system in Maine as a practical alternative to more costly categories of care (i.e. emergency rooms, inpatient care and jails). funDRAiSinG eventS/oPPoRtunitieS Sweetser has two major fundraising special events that provide several sponsor- ship opportunities for business participation and donor support.
