We provide everyone with access to information: We maintain a compre- hensive library of self-help tools, legal information and resources which are available to everyone online at no charge. ese resources are viewed and down- loaded more than two million times each year. We provide community education throughout Maine: We present on relevant legal topics to client groups, social service providers, members of the private bar, court personnel, landlords and others. We will reach more than 3,600 people in 2015 through our community education activities. We provide legal advocacy for individuals and families: e majority of our work focuses on providing direct legal advocacy to individuals and families who are unable to afford private counsel. Its mission is to ensure that state and federal laws affecting poor people are upheld, while also addressing the systemic barriers to justice faced by Mainers with low incomes.
