Annual holiday Gift Giving Campaign – Funds raised to support the purchase of holiday gifts for youth and families served by KidsPeace in Maine. Annual Mount Desert island Garlic festival – Held every September in Southwest Harbor to celebrate the harvest. Featuring local restaurateurs, a farmer's market, live music and family fun. Supporters can donate to these efforts by check, online or through in-kind support (all proceeds support kids and families by providing otherwise unavail- able funds) and/or help solicit sponsors, vendors and volunteers to help with marketing and coordinating each of these events.
