BerryDunn, a CPA and consulting firm in Portland, announced that Seth Webber, principal and head of the firm's valuation group, earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and Meridith Salvas, a member of the firm's valuation group, earned the Certified Valuation Analyst designation. Bernstein Shur, a law firm in Portland, announced that Kate Knox was named the 2014 Outstanding Alumna Award recipient by the Women's Law Association at the University of Maine School of Law. Knox is a shareholder and chair of the political and legislative practice group with the firm. Educate Maine presented U.S. Sen. Angus King with its Weston L. Bonney Education Leadership Award. e award recognizes those who have demonstrated "commitment, vision and courage in support of Maine students." Bath Savings Institution recently presented its Employee Recognition Awards. Winners included Michelle Barker, assistant branch manager in Freeport, Neighbor to Neighbor Award; Jamie House, teller in Boothbay Harbor, excep- tional teller award; Sarah Peters, assistant branch manager in Damariscotta, 2014 exceptional customer service represen- tative; Daniel Wilson, assistant manager deposit services in Bath, most help- ful internal support person; and the Damariscotta branch received the 2014 relationship builder award. Girl Scouts of Maine announced that Gena Canning, managing partner at Pine State Trading Co., received its 2015 women of distinction award. The Maine Health Access Foundation announced that President and CEO Wendy Wolf was honored by the Maine Primary Care Association as the recipi- ent of its president's award. Verrill Dana, a law firm in Portland, was recognized in the 2015 edition of BTI Consulting Group's BTI Client Service A-Team, a ranking of client service for the corporate law firm market.
