Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution promoted Kathy Verrill to project manager. Verrill was previously the manager of business services. Kilbride & Harris Insurance Services LLC in South Portland promoted Aaron McMorrow to vice president. Clark Insurance in Portland promoted Tammy Volock to controller and Justin Hayden to financial analyst. Sunday River Resort in Newry pro- moted Jake Treadwell to vice president of mountain operations, effective April 1. Treadwell is currently moun- tain manager and assistant vice presi- dent of mountain operations. The Maine Department of Marine Resources appointed Sonny Beal to serve on the Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative board of directors. Beal also serves as the vice chairman of the Beals/Jonesport Lobster Co-op. Camden National Corp. announced that Lawrence Sterrs was elected to its board of directors and technology committee. Sterrs is the board chair and CEO of the Unity Foundation. Jobs for Maine's Graduates in Augusta announced that Steve Byrnes, executive vice president and chief sales officer at Kennebunk Savings Bank, was elected chair of its board. Other officers include, as vice chairman, Ken Coville, super- intendent of MSAD 74; secretary, Cary Olson-Cartwright, assistant vice president for corporate social responsibility at Unum; and treasurer, Chris Amann, non- profit financial consultant. New board members include Chris Cimino, executive vice president of business development, C.M. The Maine Real Estate Managers Association announced its board of direc- tors for the 2015-2016 term, including Sherrin Vail, president; Dan Drost, vice president; Sarah Lavigne, treasurer; and Cynde Dunn, secretary. Board members include Barbara Soloway, Sara LaBrecque, Jim Otis, Bruce Merrill, Michelle King, Tami Exchange and Brian Frost. Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences in East Boothbay announced that Herbert Paris is the new chair of its board of trustees. Paris previously served as president and CEO of Mid Coast Health Services and its subsidiaries until his retirement in 2011. Maine Medical Center in Portland announced that Matthew Hayn received a three- year appointment as its Cancer Liaison Physician, a position that is part of cancer care programs accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. The Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development in Portland announced six new board members, including Jim DaSilva, vice president business development, GW & Wade LLC; Charlie Emmons, senior commercial loan officer, Finance Authority of Maine; Sam Fratoni, board chair, Envision Maine and member of the Maine Angels; Fletcher Kittredge, CEO, GWI; Becky McKinnell, president, iBec Creative; and Chris Sauer, president and CEO, Ocean Renewable Power Co. Day One, an agency in South Portland that aids in preventing and treating adolescent substance abuse, announced Andrea Cayer and Matthew Lancaster joined its board of directors. Cayer recently retired from Cape Elizabeth High School, where she was the school's adult facilitator of the agency's Natural Helpers of Maine program, while Lancaster is co-owner of Mr. Bagel in Scarborough and Pine Point. The Maine Real Estate & Development Association announced that Jason Favreau will chair its membership and market- ing committee. Favreau is a principal in the tax services group at BerryDunn. Sarah Halpin was appointed as the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. ambassador for Maine. Halpin is a certified financial planner with The Danforth Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in Portland. Johnson is the organization's chief information officer. The Maine Innkeepers Association pre- sented Clark Insurance in Portland with the 2014 Allied Member of the Year Award at its annual meeting. Bangor Savings Bank announced that Mischelle Adams was awarded the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association. Adams is the wealth management account officer at the bank.
