artford Business Journal held its
inaugural Connecticut Business
Excellence Awards event on Sept. 30 at
Farmington Gardens in Farmington.
The event honored 18 businesses and
organizations across four categories:
family-owned, for-profit and women-
owned businesses as well as nonprofits.
Honorees were recognized in categories
based on employee count.
The event's presenting sponsor was
BeaconBank. The supporting sponsor was
Access Health CT Business Plus.

Guests enjoy networking before the event.
Masonicare was an honoree in the nonprofit category.
Leaders and employees of woman-owned business

The event emcees were HBJ Associate Publisher

Business Excellence Awards winners and guests filled up Farmington Gardens.
