P R O F I L E S P O N S O R E D C O N T E N T M A K E R P RO F I L E 21 Our Roots Founded in Yarmouth, Maine, during the 1973 energy crisis, Cuddledown began by manufacturing European-style down comforters to help New Englanders combat rising heating costs. What started as a local operation quickly scaled into a national brand through catalogs and e-commerce, as well as partnerships with luxury hotels and resorts. Commitment to Quality & Sustainability Today, our purpose remains the same as it was in 1973: a commitment to exceptional quality manufacturing and a pas- sion for creating better sleep. We source the finest materials from around the world and combine them with thoughtful, hands-on craftsmanship in our Maine factory. Our luxury down bedding, including exceptional high-end fills such as eiderdown, sets Cuddledown apart with a level of quality and expertise rarely found in the industry. Our OEKO-TEX® and RDS certifications further reflect our commitment to responsible sourcing and manufacturing. From down and synthetic comforters in a range of warmth levels and sizes to more than 30 styles of pillows and our featherbeds, our broad product offering is designed to meet the needs of discerning hospitality partners, retailers, and customers. Driving Maine's Economy We're proud to call Maine home while supporting nearly 60 employees at our Yarmouth factory and business offices, as well as our Freeport Outlet store. Many of our team members have been with us for decades, a reflection of the strong relationships and shared commitment at the heart of our business. We're proud to make premium-quality bedding here in Maine and to work alongside other Maine businesses through Cuddledown Wholesale, partnering with hundreds of local inns, resorts, hotels, retailers, and interior designers. Together, we help support the communi- ties and economy we're fortunate to call home. We're also proud to supply comfortable bedding in support of the Maine-based Travis Mills Foundation and its inspiring work helping veterans and their families. Looking Ahead As we look to the future, we're excited to continue growing Cuddledown and the partnerships that have helped make our business what it is today. We see tremendous opportu- nity to grow alongside our Maine business partners while expanding our relationships across the country. And as that growth continues, so will our commitment to manufacturing in Maine. Over the next three years, we plan to expand our manufacturing capabilities with new machinery, creating additional opportunities for Maine jobs while allowing us to continue making the quality bedding our customers and partners have come to expect.
