X X I I 118 G I V I N G G U I D E 2 0 2 6 – 2 0 2 7 N O N P RO F I T P RO F I L E 2027 GOALS Waypoint has experienced significant growth over the past year through the acquisition of The Little Dolphin Schools and the merger of The Progress Center into Waypoint, expanding our reach across Southern and Western Maine. Our goals for the upcoming fiscal year include thoughtful, strategic growth of core programs, including children's services and adult case management. Our unique remote technology program, which provides in-home sensors, cameras, and other technology, con- tinues to grow as we expand to provide Assistive Technology services. We anticipate revenue growth across the organiza- tion as we leverage our resources and regional expertise to provide high-quality, person-centered services to more individ- uals and families. We are strategically leveraging commercial rental properties to generate dependable earned income and diversify funding streams that support Waypoint's long-term financial sustainability and mission. Throughout this growth, Waypoint remains firmly committed to excellence in care, con- tinuous improvement, greater efficiency, and a satisfied, well- compensated workforce. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/OPPORTUNITIES Waypoint's Music Fest is our foremost fundraising event: In June 2027, we'll once again host our live music event along the waterfront, bringing people together for great music, a beer garden, and an unforgettable evening. This important fund- raiser supports Waypoint Maine's services, including Fraser Ford School and Children's and Adult Services. Every September, Waypoint Maine hosts its annual Golf Tournament. In 2026, we celebrated our 15th annual tour- nament, raising funds to support Waypoint Maine's athletes participating in Special Olympics Maine. Funding ensures that children and adults with intellectual disabilities continue to thrive, and financial support provides increased access to community activities, which promote health, fitness, and overall wellbeing. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES f Bequests and Donations: Giving can be easily directed toward a donor's particular area of interest. f Annual Fund Drive: Launches in October each fall and ben- efits all of Waypoint Maine's programs. f Event Sponsorships: Businesses and individuals can spon- sor and make contributions to any and all events. f Online: Supporters can donate by credit card, PayPal or directly online by using the QR code below or by visiting www.waypointmaine.org. f In-kind: Donations of goods or services, recreational or other equipment are gratefully accepted. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Annually our volunteers log hundreds of hours maintaining Waypoint Maine's campus, which includes handicapped-acces- sible trails, an historic waterfront area and playgrounds at our Fraser Ford School. Numerous volunteers, many through area businesses seeking to give back, volunteer their time to weed, rake and mulch and help maintain our trails and grounds.
