Gregory Leslie, MD Division Chief of Hospital Medicine, UMass Memorial Medical Group Brendan Monahan, MBA Associate Vice President of Clinical Services, UMass Memorial Medical Center 4 0 U N D E R F O R T Y John Andreoli, 36 Principal & producer, Sullivan Insurance Group, in Worcester Residence: Boston College: University of Connecticut John Andreoli began building his insurance career while still pursuing another one: professional baseball. During the final five years of his 12-year baseball career, Andreoli spent his offseasons developing an insurance and risk management practice. After retiring from baseball, he helped Sullivan Insurance Group develop a recruitment, training, and development program for insurance professionals. He established the firm's employee producer program, providing young professionals with a roadmap to build their own insurance practices. In 2025, global insurer Chubb selected him as one of 40 Rising Stars insurance brokers. Before insurance, Andreoli reached baseball's highest level. Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2011, he made his Major League Baseball debut with the Seattle Mariners in 2018 and later played for the Baltimore Orioles and San Diego Padres. Andreoli leads Sullivan's volunteer efforts for Advantage Truck Group's Haulin' 4 Hunger food distribution program and volunteers with Caritas Communities' Young Leaders Group and youth baseball clinics. What one life lesson do you most want to pass onto the next generation? The way you do anything is the way you do everything. Where is the best place to relax in Central Mass.? Any golf course! What is your proudest moment? Welcoming John Jr. into the world with my wife Cara Ashley Barry, 38 Operations manager for strategic accounts, DAVIS Cos., Inc., in Marlborough Residence: Worcester College: UMass Dartmouth Sixteen years after joining DAVIS as a recruiter, Ashley Barry has become a key player in managing some of the staffing firm's most complex accounts. Barry implements contingent workforce programs for key accounts in the company's managed services division, including vendor management systems globally. She manages a two-person team while working closely with program and account managers on operations. Her work has included coordinating high-volume staffing projects and developing recruitment strategies to meet aggressive hiring targets while confronting turnover and unclear lines of responsibility. Her performance has earned Barry three DAVIS GEM Awards, the company's highest employee honor, with her latest coming in 2024. Outside work, Barry makes community service a family tradition. She delivers Meals on Wheels every Christmas Day and donates food, clothing, and household items locally. She volunteers for Ronald McDonald House and United Way initiatives and shares career advice with women's groups and student organizations.
