His practice includes counseling clients on IP strategy, transactions and risk management across a range of industries. Cordani works with companies to protect and commercialize their assets, supporting business growth and innova- tion while navigating evolving legal and regulatory frameworks. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? One of my most meaningful accomplish- ments has been helping clients protect and leverage their intellectual property to support business growth, whether through strategic counseling, trans- actions or resolving complex disputes, ensuring their innovations remain a competitive advantage. How are you involved in the community? I am involved with the Connecticut Bar Association and support community organizations through pro bono work, including providing legal assistance to individuals and small businesses. I also participate in firm-led service initiatives that benefit local nonprofits throughout the Hartford area. What do you like to do outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active and exploring new places. Locally, he leads the fi rm's private equity and deal services focus, while also serving as the national leader for the fi rm's construction private equity segment. He helps clients evaluate opportunities, navigate diligence and help enhance value through pre- and post-transaction advisory. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? My biggest accomplishment has been serving as a leader within our private equity and deal services teams — both of which have been practice segments that achieved strong growth results for our fi rm (across the country) over the last fi ve years. How are you involved in the community? I coach Little League Baseball and a winter basketball clinic in Woodstock. I also serve as the president of the Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) CT chapter, an organization of multidisciplinary advi- sors that collaborate to support business owners across Connecticut during ownership transitions. What do you like to do outside of work? Outside of work, I spend time with my family. With three kids, that usually means getting them to their next activity, but when we have free time, it's typically spent outdoors. I'm also a foodie, so I love to cook and try new restaurants and enjoy sharing that with others. Fun Fact I got to meet and speak with Desmond Tutu.
