He began his career with SBI as a union laborer in 2007 while earning degrees in resource economics and business and construc- tion management. Since helping lead a strategic growth initiative in 2018, SBI has grown annual revenue from $50 million to over $100 million, doubled its workforce to more than 100 employees, and expanded into Massachusetts and New Hampshire with a Waltham office. What's been your biggest profes- sional accomplishment so far in your career? My most significant accomplishment was leading the establishment of SBI's Boston office. The office now supports its own dedicated project management and field staff and accounts for approx- imately 50% of the company's annual revenue. How are you involved in the community? I am an active member of our local church campus, serve on the Connecticut Construction Industries Association board of directors, and help coordinate corporate support for organizations including Foodshare and Provision Ministries. What do you like to do outside of work? When I am not working, I spend as much time as possible outside with my wife, three children and Labrador retriever, Banjo. We love hunting, fishing and working on our family farm. Fun Fact In 2020, I harvested Connecticut's largest whitetail buck taken with a bow that season. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? My biggest accomplishment is helping evolve Athelo's internship program into a fully structured, impactful initiative. This six-month rotational initiative has become a real pipeline for diverse talent, with strong female and underrepresented group participation. Seeing emerging professionals launch careers in sports and entertainment through hands-on experience and mentorship is something I'm genuinely proud of. How are you involved in the community? I make myself available as a resource to the next generation of sports professionals through guest speaking at universities, leading Athelo's internship program and running a Females of the Future mentor- ship initiative. My goal is to open doors and create more accessible pathways into the industry for our future professionals. What do you like to do outside of work? Outside of work, I prioritize staying active and spending time outdoors. I love devoting time to family and friends and the people who matter most to me. I also enjoy traveling and catching live concerts whenever I can! Fun Fact I rescued my soul dog, Luna, off the street while on vacation. Turns out she rescued me instead!
