Gilbert & Becker was founded in 1947 and specializes in slate and copper roofing. The firm has worked on projects replacing roofs at a number of historic buildings in Boston, including Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, King's Chapel, and the China Trade Gate in the city's Chinatown neighbor- hood. Gilbert & Becker will continue operating under its existing name, with its leadership and employ- ees staying in place, Greenwood announced in May.
