14 Clinton Savings Bank C linton Savings Bank has a long-standing commitment to supporting education in the community through its scholarship program. For the 2025 academic year, the bank awarded $11,000 to local high school seniors. Scholarship recipients are selected based on need and their accomplishments in academics, leadership, community service and extracurricular activities. Each recipient received a $1,000 scholarship and the Bank also awarded two $500 scholarships for a banking program student at Tahanto Regional High School and Nashoba Regional High School. Leah Compton was the 2025 schol- arship recipient for both the $1,000 scholarship and the $500 banking program scholarship from Nashoba Regional High School. Acknowledging two scholarships granted to her, Compton said, "ose gis reduced the burden on my family of financing my education." Additionally, Compton said the scholarships gave her the free- dom to explore educational options that she may not otherwise have experienced. "As I continue on my education journey, I appreciate the op- portunities made possible by organizations like Clinton Savings Bank," she noted. "I am working hard to continue to earn the confidence you have shown in me." In addition to Nashoba Regional High School, scholarships were also granted to seniors at the following: • Assabet Valley Technical High School • Clinton High School • Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical High School • Shrewsbury High School • Tahanto Regional High School • Wachusett High School • West Boylston High School • North Central Mass Chamber Foundation Non-Traditional Scholarship Program Scott Czermak, principal at Clinton High School, also thanked Clinton Savings Bank for its contin- ued commitment to their students.
