Eversource Energy named Don Scacco president of its Connecticut electric operations, effective July 6. Scacco, a 30-year company veteran who currently serves as vice president of electric field operations in Connecticut, succeeds Steve Sullivan, who is retiring. In the role, Scacco will oversee electric operations and system maintenance across Connecticut. He has held leadership roles across Eversource's distribution, transmis- sion, engineering and customer operations businesses. Pat Munger Construction Co. Inc., a Connecticut commercial construction company, has appointed Karen DelVecchio relationship manager in a newly created role. She will focus on maintaining and expanding relationships with current and former clients and strategic partners, while continuing to support new business development. DelVecchio joined the company in 2018 in a business development role. Previously, she spent 13 years in the chamber of commerce industry. Boehringer Ingel- heim, a pharmaceutical company with U.S. operations in Ridgefield, has appointed Christie Bloomquist senior vice president, corporate affairs, Human Pharma U.S. She will oversee U.S. communica- tions, public affairs and government affairs for the company's Human Pharma business. Bloomquist most recently served as vice president, U.S. strategy and government affairs at Astellas Pharma U.S., and previously was vice president, U.S. corporate affairs and government affairs at AstraZeneca. She previously practiced as a health- care regulatory attorney. James W. Bergenn, a partner in Shipman & Goodwin's litigation practice, received the Hartford County Bar Association's William "Bill" R. Davis Presi- dent's Award at the association's 2026 annual meeting on May 20 at The Bushnell in Hartford. The award recognizes contributions to the legal profession and the greater Hartford community. During his career, Bergenn has served clients across a range of complex legal matters, including complex civil and criminal litigation, white collar crime and catastrophic injury litigation. Veteran commercial real estate veteran Nicholas Morizio has donated $1 million to UConn's real estate program to establish student scholarships, marking the largest individual gift in the program's history. Morizio is a 1974 UConn graduate and president of Colliers Interna- tional's Connecticut and Western Massachusetts offices. UConn said the scholarship fund will support students in its real estate program, which graduates about 60 majors and minors annually. First County Advisors, the wealth management division of First County Bank in Stamford, has appointed Andrew Pandolfo vice president, wealth advisor. He will focus on developing long-term client relationships and providing financial planning guidance to individuals and multigenerational families. Pandolfo previously was managing partner and financial advisor at Sols Point Capital and also held roles at Raymond James and Legg Mason.
