HARTFORDBUSINESS.COM | MAY 4, 2026 25 Dear HBJ Readers, Friends and Colleagues, As I reflect on the past twelve months, I recognize they brought their share of challenges, but they also offered countless moments of joy, growth, and connection. Those experiences have given me a renewed sense of clarity and confidence as I step into 2026. Writing this le„er has become one of my favorite spring traditions. It's a moment to pause, look inward, and appreciate the people and relationships that shape our work and our community. This past fall, TSB featured members of our team on a billboard. The overwhelmingly positive response reminded me why I love where we live and work. It set the tone for my year, grounded in gratitude, openness, and deeper connections. As a mutual community bank, strengthening bonds is at the heart of our mission. Our leadership team is united in its desire to build connections that are meaningful rather than transactional. Our whole team remains commi„ed to doing the right thing, even when it requires extra effort, and we understand how important security and trust are in today's world. This year, we expanded our Executive Leadership Team with the additions of Mark Malone, Senior Vice President and Chief Consumer Banking Officer; Michael Brown, Senior Vice President and Human Resources Officer; and Michael Sweeney, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Lending Officer. These appointments reinforce TSB's dedication to cultivating strong relationships and expanding our reach into more communities. With the launch of Greenlight, Early Pay, and other innovative products and services, we are evolving to meet the needs of today's families and businesses. TSB is not just a bank for your grandparents, it's a bank for every generation. We recognize that each person's financial journey is unique, and our team is here to listen, understand, and help you find the right solutions. Since our founding in 1868, when seventeen local leaders came together to create a bank built on accessibility and community, our mission has remained the same: to put people first. That commitment continues to guide every decision we make. Our shared journey will always include challenges, but our collective strength, strategy, and dedication to one another position us well for success. We are here to support your goals and walk alongside you, so you never have to navigate them alone. I look forward to meeting new people, deepening existing relationships, and continuing to grow together in the year ahead. Lesa A. Vanoi President & Chief Executive Officer
