Elmet (Nasdaq: ELMT) said it intends to use net proceeds from the offering, together with its existing cash and restricted cash, to repay debt, with the remainder to be used for growth, working capital and for general corporate purposes. e company manufactures precision-engineered components and advanced high-energy systems for the aerospace, defense and government, industrial, medical, semiconductor and electronics and energy industries. e 97-year-old company operates through two segments, critical mate- rials components and engineered microwave products. Elmet's contributions to NASA's Artemis II mission included produc- tion of high-density tungsten heavy alloy materials, produced at the manu- facturing headquarters in Lewiston. From Elmet's facility in Euclid, Ohio, it produced high-strength, corrosion- resistant parts engineered to with- stand the extreme environments of space flight. Elmet is the only U.S.-owned and operated, vertically integrated tung- sten and molybdenum manufacturer. It has nearly 400 employees across three facilities, which total more than 500,000 square feet in Maine, Ohio and Michigan.
