LEOMINSTER e Leominster Planning Board is recommending the City Council approve Pluto Cannabis' request to assume operations of an adult-use marijuana dispensary located at 130 Pioneer Dr. Pluto Cannabis, based in Lynn, is seeking a special permit to take over the establishment from its current operator Revolutionary Clinics. MARLBOROUGH Construction of a Shaw's Super- market location at 193 Boston Post Road is underway, according to a February Instagram post from R.K. Centers, the Needham-based owner of the plaza at the site. An exact open- ing date for the Marlborough store hasn't been announced from the West Bridgewater-based grocery chain, but the 52,000-square-foot store is ex- pected to begin business this spring. It replaces a former Hannaford location, which closed in September. 2 Adams Holding LLC, a Brigh- ton-based entity managed by Ciaran McEvoy, purchased a property at 2 Adams St. featuring a six-unit apart- ment building for $1.35 million from e Beantown Cos. of Waltham. Adam Day of Steve Bremis Realty Group in Somerville served as the listing broker for this transaction. MILLIS e Millis Select Board unani- mously voted on March 2 to place an article on the annual town meeting warrant for its May 4 meeting, asking voters to approve a plan to transfer one of two Town-owned parcels to the Millis Housing Authority for devel- opment into affordable housing. Rents would be no more than 30% of the household's gross-adjusted income. e considered lots are a 23.1-acre parcel off of Village Street and a 36.2- acre parcel off of Exchange Street. A determination of which lot will be voted on will happen at a select board meeting before May 4, following a wetland review and public outreach. SHREWSBURY STURBRIDGE A new indoor recreation concept featuring golf simulators and a bar has been approved by the Stur- bridge Planning Board for 365 Main St. in Sturbridge, converting an existing retail unit into a private fitness and entertainment venue. e Iron Club's proposal includes golf simulators alongside a lounge and bar area, positioning it as a member- ship-based recreational space rather than traditional retail. Michael Pla- cella of Brimfield applied on behalf of e Iron Club. Placella co-owns the Italian market Tutti Quanti in Sturbridge. WORCESTER e Worcester Planning Board unanimously approved a parking plan for a new Town Fair Tire location at 540 West Boylston St. on April 1. e parking approval comes aer the Zoning Board of Appeals unani- mously signed off on special permits for the project in February. e Worcester location will be the first for the Connecticut-based firm, replacing a former Halloween Outlet location at the site.
