HARTFORDBUSINESS.COM | MARCH 23, 2026 B13 T H E 2 0 2 6 WOMEN IN BUSINESS H O N O R E E S the law department to drive greater efficiency and strategic impact. I want to identify practical, responsi- ble ways to enhance legal analysis, risk assessment and overall deci- sion-making — so the department can operate faster and smarter without compromising judgment. What's one of the biggest profes- sional challenges you've overcome? The shift from being a high-per- forming individual contributor to an effective leader — learning to delegate and focus on enabling outcomes while still maintaining high standards and accountability. How are you involved in the community? I actively support Talcott-sponsored community involvement activities, including food drives to benefit South Park Inn, a Hartford-based nonprofit dedicated to fighting home- lessness, and Junior Achievement through the JA in a Day program, where employees deliver age-ap- propriate financial literacy lessons to K-12 classrooms at Betances Elementary School in Hartford. L isa Proch is general counsel and chief compliance officer for Talcott, an international life insur- ance group with more than $125 billion in assets under management operating in the U.S., Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. She develops and implements legal strategies supporting underwriting, reinsurance and insurance distribution. She also oversees compliance, govern- ment affairs, internal audit, procurement and vendor management and serves as chair of the board of directors for Talcott Resolution Life Insurance Company. What have been your biggest profes- sional accomplishments so far? Some of my biggest professional accomplishments include building a legal and compliance department for a multijurisdictional insurance company with over $125 billion in assets from the ground up, expanding into Bermuda and the Cayman Islands, and leading my team through the successful sale of the company. What's the next big goal you want to accomplish professionally? To deepen my understanding of how AI can be effectively integrated into lisa M. proCH Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer Talcott Financial Group T isa Rabun-Marshall serves as head of marketing at Nassau Financial Group, a Hartford-based financial services company operating across the U.S. Reporting to the chief growth officer, she leads an eight-person team over- seeing brand, creative, distribution and product marketing, digital marketing, social media, innovation and web strategy. She began her career with the company as an intern in 2002 and joined full-time after earning her MBA from Hampton University in 2004. During more than two decades with Nassau, she has held roles spanning corporate communications, community relations, distribution, development operations and marketing. What have been your biggest profes- sional accomplishments so far? Over the last 20-plus years, I've guided or led countless cross-functional initiatives, including the creation of a new distribution company, corporate rebranding during our company acquisi- tion, direct-to-consumer channel launch, mobile app development and Nassau's web cloud migration. In addition, I've played an integral role in our growth supporting go-to-market strategy for new annuity products and fostering strong external partner relationships. What's the next big goal you want to accomplish professionally? My next big goal is likely pursuing another advanced degree or other program to further my knowledge and skills. There are some interesting business degree programs emerging that include a STEM or AI designation. With my daughter heading to college soon, it could be a great time to return to school myself. Why not? What's one of the biggest professional challenges you've overcome? I've been fortunate to have a steady and long tenure with Nassau and navigated through many company and organiza- tional changes over the years. One of the biggest recent challenges was remote work and school during the pandemic. It was a period of uncertainty, but Nassau pivoted quickly to support us with tech- nology and flexible policies that made the circumstances manageable and allowed my team to still thrive. tisa rabun-MarsHall Head of Marketing Nassau Financial Group NASSAU FINANCIAL GROUP CONGRATULATES Tisa Rabun-Marshall HEAD OF MARKETING 2026 WOMEN IN BUSINESS HONOREE Tisa's impact extends far beyond the workplace.
