Our 100% employee-owned company installs renewable energy technologies (solar, heat pumps, batteries, and EV chargers) for homes and businesses across Maine. Our two decades of experience, more than 19,000 installed projects, and excellent reviews all demonstrate that customers can trust us to provide reliable and effective installations. We're truly local – we live and work in Maine. Renewable energy is complicated, and regulations are localized. Customers benefit from our local expertise, learning and understanding of each step of the process. What does "doing business for good" mean to your organization? At ReVision Energy we have been mission-driven from the start. Our commitment to building a better world isn't just good for business; it is our business. We are a company that embodies our values in every interaction with our customers, with our suppliers, with our community, and of course with each other. Being certified as a B Corporation is a validation of those efforts, proving our commitment to using business as a source of positive social and environmental change in the world. Furthermore, the B Corp certification pushes us to progress as a values-driven organization. It provides a transparent, tangible process that identifies commitments we can make to reach ever-higher standards of social and environmental performance, and holds us accountable to those commitments. How do you engage employees in community involvement, volunteerism, or purpose-driven initiatives? Recognizing the intersectional relationship between envi- ronmentalism and social justice, ReVision is focused on hiring and supporting employee-owners of all backgrounds and identities, united in our mission. We are committed to advocating for racial and social justice alongside our solar work. We do this as a team, mobilizing co-owners and our community to support policies, share resources, join rallies and town halls, and further social equity on a local and national level. Every employee-owner gets annual paid volunteer hours to help out an organization of their choice, as well as a stipend to donate through our Co-Owner Community Impact Fund. How does your company support or partner with local nonprofits, schools, or community organizations? In addition to our employee volunteer program and impact fund, we also work hard to expand solar access to local orga- nizations. By using creative funding approaches (including power purchase agreements, grants, and investors), we help local groups go solar, saving money that they can pass on to the communities they serve. rough programs, partnerships, and even getting involved in legislative change, our company leads the movement to create a clean energy future. Building a better world is what we've been about since day one.
