The purchase price was $87.5 million, according to the 2018 Mainebiz Book of Lists based on deals from 2017. For context, we've seen construction investments today that are valued significantly higher. Mainebiz has reported, for instance, about a $500 million investment in the Maine Medical Center campus and the $400 million upgrade of the Sappi Paper mill in Skowhegan.
